Warranty

WORKMANSHIP –

We warrant that all work done by our electricians is done in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code for one year and will repair any work completed by us, that we find to be defective, for free, subject to limitations detailed below:​

LIMITED LIFETIME PARTS WARRANTY –

We warrant that all parts provided and installed by Corkum’s Electrical Sales & Service be free of defects for one year and that we will repair or replace any parts we find to be defective.​

REPLACEABLE PARTS –

Are ones with a limited life expectancy, and are designed to be replaced – these types of parts are expressly excluded from this warranty. Replacable parts may include (but are not limited to): light bulbs, ballasts, fuses, transformers, batteries etc.​

“Acts of God or Nature”, Abuse, or Physical Damage are not covered under this warranty.​

GENERAL CONDITIONS –

This warranty only extends to parts and labour provided by Corkum’s Electrical Sales & Service Ltd. Any parts provided by others, or installations done by others are expressly excluded from this warranty.

There is no coverage for items damaged  by acts of nature, misuse, repair by others or abuse. Remedies for warranty claims are limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged part or faulty installation, but not exceeding a full refund for the installation or faulty portion of the installation.

This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs made by others unless authorized in writing by Corkum’s Electrical Sales & Service Ltd. This warranty does not cover any parts or installations for which Corkum’s Electrical Sales & Service Limited has not received payment. Failure to pay for a service or installation voids any warranty coverage offered by Corkum’s Electrical Sales & Service Limited.

No warranty coverage is extended to pro gratis or courtesy repairs.

This warranty is non transferrable and only enforceable by the original purchaser – no warranty coverage or guaranties are extended to subsequent owners or occupants.​
